Safety
In testing by the Insurance Institute on Highway Safety, the Kia Cadenza received a rating of Good (the highest possible rating) in the categories of moderate front overlap, side impact, roof strength and whiplash protection. Standard safety features on all models include antilock brakes, traction and stability control, a rearview camera, front and rear side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and hill-hold assist. Rear parking sensors are also included on the higher trim levels, while the Limited version adds blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alerts, a surround view camera system, and a lane departure warning system (all optional additions to the Premium level).
